It’s with great sadness that we have learnt today of the passing of our friend and club member Freddie McKenna.
Freddie has been a member of the club since the 70’s and over the years had lent his professional experience as a machine operator to countless projects in Mill Hill; from digging out and filling new shooting areas on the grounds and being involved in the building of the clubhouse and it’s various extensions over the years.
Freddie was a man who had a huge interest in all aspects of country and gun sports. He was an avid game shot and long serving member of Ardee & District Game Club and in turn could turn his hand to competing for Club and County at clay target shooting without a second thought. He was well known throughout the northeast and always up for a chat.
From the committee and members of Mill Hill Cpsc we would like to pass on our condolences to his family at this sad time.
Rest in Peace Freddie.
