Final Result UPDATED After Shoot off !
This event finished on a joint high gun on the day with Conor Scullion and Colin Dunne and it was Sunday when we got to find the winner for 2026, and congratulations goes to Conor Scullion this time round who finished with a 3 bird advantage on the score card.
Sportsmanship at its best !
Thanks to you all who took part in the Fintan Murphy Memorial in Mill Hill this weekend, it was superb to see everyone along with plenty of new faces making the journey to partake in this competition. Saturday afternoon got off to a bit of a sketchy start but thankfully most of the gremlins were worked out after a few delays. Thanks to everyone for your patience while it was being resolved. ![]()
Anyway, to the main point of this post; this weekend we seen so many super scores returned to the clubhouse but at the top of the pile was Conor Scullion Scullion from the Saturday afternoon rotation and Colin Dunne from today, both with a 94×100. After some phone calls and chatting with all parties involved, the final outcome which was proposed by Colin, that rather than push Conor to make the hour and a half journey back for a shoot off in Mill Hill (which Conor was willing to do in fairness as he was loaded and ready to travel if needed) that he would be happy to defer the shoot off to a time when both were in the same location at the same time.
This was seen by ourselves and all on site to be the highest level of sportsmanship.
Top job Colin, sportsmanship at its fairest and absolute best.
So for now we commend you both on a super score and look forward to having the shoot off in the near future ![]()
Full report and results will be post on the club and Ictsa websites going forward.
Thanks again to all involved.
